Three hours are not quite enough to experience everything it has to offer. If you want to do the gondola to the top if the mountain, do it first.”

Highlights included witnessing a consortium of moose, wolves and bisons (observed from within the safe confines of a Honda Pilot), feeding trouts and driving by the Montebello Lodge. Premier arrêt : un restaurant qui sert les classiques, soupe, jambon, pommes de terre sautées, omelettes, pancakes avec du sirop à volonté. Tout irait encore, sauf qu’on nous y laisse presque deux heures. Je m’attendais à une jolie forêt pour patienter ; en réalité, le lieu est dans une zone rurale, entourée de maisons et de champs. Aucune visite de la forêt d’érables, aucune démonstration de récolte. J’ai passé près d’une heure assise à attendre la suite. La boutique propose des souvenirs « authentiques » qu’on trouve bien moins chers à Montréal. Deuxième arrêt : Trois-Rivières, une heure…”
